The Problem

“Many Australian sellers don’t realize they are paying a 20-30% English-speaker tax.”

— Shujaat Kazmi, Founder

Chinese suppliers quote higher prices right off the bat because most importers don’t understand the local dynamics — and dealing in dollars instead of the local currency means you miss out on the best quote and pay a premium. If you found a good price anyway, you probably ran into trouble again later with:

Samples are great, but production batch quality is inconsistent or poor

Communication with factories becomes frustrating

Shipping, customs costs and paperwork become overwhelming — not to mention consolidation

Delays destroy product launch timelines

100% upfront payment means no leverage and no cashflow

No quality inspection, and no support with customs or last-mile delivery

Worst case: suppliers disappear altogether after payment because they were never a real factory

Without the right expertise on the ground, one mistake can wipe out months of margin

How We Solve It

We are your unfair advantage in Chinese sourcing

We minimize your risk exposure when it comes to sourcing from China

Your boots on the ground

We aren’t just an email address. Our team is physically present on the factory floor, ensuring your “priority” status is respected and your deadlines are met.

Secure payment terms

We negotiate payment milestones that protect your cash flow. We ensure the factory only gets paid when the goods meet your exact specifications.

The end of ‘quality fade’

We don’t wait for the container to arrive in Australia. We perform mid-production inspections to catch errors while they’re still fixable.

ABF & ACCC ready

We verify every AS/NZS certification and labeling requirement before shipment. Your stock clears Australian Border Force without the “customs hold” anxiety.

Door-to-door clarity

From the factory gate to your warehouse in Sydney or Perth. We handle the consolidation, paperwork, and GST hurdles so you can focus on selling.

Verified factory direct

We filter away the middleman shell. You get verified manufacturers, ensuring you pay the real price, not a markup.

Walking canes: a full supply chain transformation

A client stuck with the wrong vendor for 3 years — overpaying, under-supported, and fighting Amazon compliance fires. Here’s how we fixed all of it.

The finished folding walking cane
  • Product R&D
  • Packaging
  • Amazon FBA
  • Supply chain consolidation

The situation

Three years with the wrong vendor. They stayed loyal. The vendor didn’t.

No design or R&D support

The existing vendor had zero capability to assist with product development or design improvement. The client was on their own.

Overpaying for the quality

The client suspected they were being charged well above market rate. They were right — but had no way to verify or negotiate from a position of knowledge.

Fragmented supply chain

Packaging was sourced separately from a different vendor entirely — meaning the client was managing two supplier relationships, two quality checks, two timelines.

Amazon labelling non-compliance

On multiple occasions the supplier’s box labelling failed Amazon’s requirements — causing stock holds, delays, and direct revenue losses on a platform where timing is everything.

What we did

We didn’t just find a cheaper supplier. We rebuilt the entire operation.

  1. Design R&D and new mold development

We started from the product itself. Working with a specialist mold maker, we developed a new mold that improved the product’s form, durability, and manufacture-ability — something the previous vendor had never offered.

Handle mold design drawing Handle prototypes from the R&D run
  2. Certified supplier sourcing

Walking canes are a health product. Certifications aren’t optional. We sourced and vetted manufacturers with the exact compliance credentials required — something the previous supplier had never addressed.

    The selected factory’s production floor
  3. Dedicated packaging vendor

We engaged a specialist packaging vendor. The client supplied the design — we handled everything else: sampling, quality approval, Amazon compliance checks, and consolidated delivery with the product. No more managing a separate packaging supplier.

Finished retail boxes stacked in units Flat printed packaging sheets before folding
  4. Batched inventory and payment structure

This was a large order. We negotiated a batched pickup arrangement — after an initial deposit, the client drew down inventory in stages as needed. No more paying for a full production run upfront and waiting months for cash to come back.

  5. Amazon-compliant labelling

Every carton, every label, every barcode — checked against Amazon FBA requirements before the shipment left the factory. No surprises at the warehouse.

From concept to shelf-ready.

Men’s Accessories

From startup brief to million-dollar brand in under 12 months

A men’s accessories startup came to us with reference designs, Alibaba quotes, and no supplier. We gave them verified vendors, DDP delivery, and a supply chain built for rapid growth.

Finished belt buckles and straps
  • Startup launch
  • Off-the-shelf sourcing
  • DDP shipping
  • End-to-end support

The brief

A startup with a clear vision. And the right instinct to get help.

What they brought to us

  • Reference designs and detailed product specifications for belt buckles and belt straps
  • Existing Alibaba quotes as a pricing benchmark — they’d done the research, they just needed someone to do it better
  • A clear quality standard — they knew what the product needed to feel like, even if they hadn’t manufactured before
  • A request for end-to-end support — they needed a partner, not just a supplier list

The startup constraints we designed around

  • No mold investment — needed to iterate on designs quickly without locking capital into tooling
  • Limited runway — every dollar mattered; no room for sourcing mistakes or wasted samples
  • Speed to market — first mover advantage in their niche required moving fast without cutting corners
  • Hassle-free logistics — as founders, they needed to focus on brand-building, not customs paperwork

What we did

Fast, thorough, and built for their stage. Not a template — a tailored process.

  1. Brief review and benchmarking

We reviewed their reference designs, specifications, and existing Alibaba quotes in detail. Rather than starting blind, we used their quotes as a baseline — and immediately identified where the market could do better on quality, price, and reliability.

Buckle reference designs reviewed at brief stage Second round of buckle reference designs
  2. Four vendors sourced in two weeks

Within two weeks we had sourced, vetted, and presented options from four separate verified suppliers — each matched against the client’s quality requirements and spec sheet. Not just names off Alibaba. Verified manufacturers with samples and pricing.

  3. Off-the-shelf selection — no mold required

Understanding their need to stay agile, we matched their specs entirely to off-the-shelf inventory. This preserved their capital — no tooling cost, no minimum mold commitment — while still delivering the quality and aesthetic their brand required. The right product, found, not built from scratch.

Capital preserved at launch. Mold investment can come later, when the design is proven in market.

  4. DDP — fully managed door to door

The client chose DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — the most hands-off shipping option. We handled everything: consolidation, export documentation, freight, import customs clearance, and delivery to their warehouse. They didn’t have to touch a single form.

  5. Ongoing partnership as the brand scaled

After a successful first order, the client kept expanding their range. Wallets, keychains, and other men’s accessories followed — each sourced through the same process. One trusted relationship replaced what would have been dozens of separate supplier negotiations.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is your fee?

We don’t charge a fixed fee. We have a commission between 1-10% which is baked into the price we quote you — so the price you get from us is the final price you pay, without any hidden charges.

How long does the process take?

It depends on the quantity and complexity of the product, but general production times are 3-4 weeks for a fully custom product. After production, sea shipping typically takes 4-5 weeks for delivery.

What is your minimum order quantity?

We don’t have a minimum order quantity on our side, however the manufacturers and suppliers have their own MOQ which we negotiate or adhere to. The bigger the order, the better we can negotiate on your behalf.

Do you handle shipping?

Yes — we can take care of the entire process from sourcing to customs clearance and delivery to your warehouse under DDP. If you have your own shipper or warehouse in China, we can work with you on EXW terms instead.

Do you have catalogs?

No, we are a sourcing agency, not a manufacturer. Clients provide us a detailed brief of what they’re looking for and we find suppliers based on that — we don’t have set product catalogs.

Where are you based in China?

We have a physical presence in Yiwu, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, but our sourcing ability isn’t limited to these cities. In Australia we have a presence in Sydney and Port Macquarie, but service clients Australia-wide.
